Abstracts Required for All Projects

There had been discussion about not requiring form 1A, Item 10 for elementary projects. Our Scientific Review Committee (SRC) members assured the Task Force that it IS indeed required. This abstract is reviewed by the SRC to assure the project is in the correct category, and that the proper process was used in completing the project.

Code of Conduct

Students:

Teachers, Chaperones and Parents:

Must remain in the designated waiting area or the adjacent snack bar corridor during judging and are ultimately responsible for addressing any bad behavior of their students or children.

Note: Failure to follow these rules may lead to the removal of the student's project from competition.

Project Space

Each student will have a 3'x5' space to display their project. Everything (project, table, chair) must fit within that space. The International Science and Engineering Fair Rules (which we follow) state that the project itself cannot be more than 30" deep, 48" wide and 108" tall.

Foods Services/Restrictions for Fair Day

The Science Fair's contract forbids us from bringing food onto the premises. All food items must be purchased on site.

Please do not bring food into the Fair. No food will be allowed on the floor during judging times – 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
